Last update: June 30, 2024

At Lithorama Boutique Suites, we are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is collected and used in a proper, lawful, and transparent manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your data when you visit our website or use our services.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and other data provided by you via forms, inquiries, or when using our services.

When you visit our website, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and data on your visiting activities.

Google Analytics

We utilize Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc., on our website. This service employs cookies and other tracking technologies to gather information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and your browsing activities on our website.

We analyze this data to understand trends and user behavior and gain demographic insights into our user base. The information gathered by Google Analytics may be sent to Google servers in the USA for storage.

Google Maps

For geographical information on our website, we utilize the Google Maps service Google Inc provides. When you use the website, Google Maps may collect, process, and use data relating to your use of the map. Further information regarding the processing of data by Google can be found in the Google privacy policy.

Trustindex

We integrate guest reviews through Trustindex, a platform for collecting, managing, and displaying customer feedback. Trustindex offers tools for businesses to gather reviews from various platforms, such as Google and Facebook, and display them on their own website. Please refer to the privacy policy at Trustindex for information on how data is processed.

YouTube

Our website utilizes YouTube plugins, a platform owned by Google Inc., to display video content. When you visit a page with a YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established, and YouTube is notified about the pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing activity directly with your personal profile. For more information on data processing and details about data protection by YouTube, please refer to Google’s privacy policy.

MailerLite

We use MailerLite, an email marketing platform, to send you newsletters and other communications. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and any other information you provide will be sent to MailerLite and stored there. For more information about how MailerLite processes data, please refer to their privacy policy.

hCaptcha

We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter “hCaptcha”) on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation (“IMI”). hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements. To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website or mobile app visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters a part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the “invisible mode” may take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place if the user is not shown a challenge. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the website visitor is party (for example, the website terms) or in order to take steps at the request of the website visitor prior to entering into a contract. Our online service (including our website, mobile apps, and any other apps or other forms of access offered by us) needs to ensure that it is interacting with a human, not a bot, and that activities performed by the user are not related to fraud or abuse. In addition, processing may also be based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: our online service has a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abusive automated crawling, spam, and other forms of abuse that can harm our service or other users of our service. IMI acts as a “data processor” acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a “service provider” for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more information about hCaptcha’s privacy policy and terms of use, please visit the following links: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy and https://www.hcaptcha.com/terms
